"Saturday Sandies" presents a meaningful opportunity to extend a helping hand to the less fortunate at KIZE Concepts. What began as a simple act of handing out sandwiches every third Saturdays has grown into an operation that now provides both sandwiches and warm, nourishing meals. This service initiative encompasses various tasks, including assisting with setup for meals, organizing donated items, and fostering connections within the community of those in need. Moreover, it frequently provides a platform for prayer and the sharing of personal stories, enriching both the volunteers and the individuals they serve.
The overarching goal of this ministry is to approach each act of service with a deep sense of respect and dignity, recognizing the inherent worth and humanity of every individual. By actively engaging in these efforts, we aim to make a tangible difference in the lives of those grappling with homelessness and adversity.
Saturday Sandies occurs regularly on the third Saturday of each month, 9:00AM-11:30AM at KIZE Concepts, located at 1740 NW 3rd Street.
Must be 13 years old or older to join us in this service opportunity.
